STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- — Kyle McGee had 17 points in Sacred Heart's 63-53 win over Wagner on Saturday night.
McGee also contributed six rebounds and three steals for the Pioneers (13-14, 7-5 Northeast Conference). Alex Sobel scored 13 points and added three blocks. Nico Galette was 3-of-10 shooting, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 5 from the line to finish with nine points.
The Seahawks (12-12, 6-6) were led by Melvin Council Jr., who posted 17 points. Keyontae Lewis added 11 points and nine rebounds for Wagner. Julian Brown also scored 11 points.
