NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- — Allan Jeanne-Rose scored 24 points as Central Connecticut beat Merrimack 75-70 on Monday night.
Jeanne-Rose added eight rebounds for the Blue Devils (9-7, 3-0 Northeast Conference). Jayden Brown scored 15 points, shooting 5 of 9 from the field and 5 for 5 from the line. Kellen Amos had 12 points and shot 4 for 9 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free throw line.
Jordan Derkack led the way for the Warriors (9-9, 3-1) with 16 points. Adam Clark added 15 points and eight assists for Merrimack. Bryan Etumnu also recorded 13 points and three blocks.
