COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- — David Early's 26 points helped Tennessee Tech defeat Bethel (TN) 81-74 on Tuesday night.
Early added five rebounds, five assists, and three steals for the Golden Eagles (4-7). Jayvis Harvey scored 24 points while going 9 of 14 (6 for 9 from 3-point range), and added six assists and three steals. Josiah Davis shot 4 for 8 (0 for 3 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 11 points.
Querrion Gadson led the Wildcats in scoring, finishing with 19 points. Bethel also got 19 points, five steals and two blocks from Connor Guthrie. In addition, Brennon Marsh finished with 14 points.
Tennessee Tech’s next game is Saturday against North Alabama at home.
