Crews added nine rebounds for the Skyhawks (3-1). Jordan Sears scored 18 points, going 8 of 12 from the field. Issa Muhammad shot 7 of 10 from the field to finish with 14 points.
The Colonels (2-1) were led by Leland Walker, who posted 21 points. Isaiah Cozart added 13 points, six rebounds and three blocks for Eastern Kentucky. In addition, Devontae Blanton had 12 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks.
