Williamson's 18 lead Towson past UNC Wilmington 66-56 in CAA quarterfinals

WASHINGTON -- — Dylan Williamson had 18 points in fifth-seeded Towson's 66-56 victory over fourth-seeded UNC Wilmington on Sunday in the Coastal Athletic Association Tournament.

Williamson shot 3 for 9 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 11 of 11 from the free-throw line for the Tigers (20-13). Nendah Tarke added 15 points while shooting 4 for 11 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 5 of 8 from the free-throw line while he also had five rebounds. Mekhi Lowery shot 5 of 6 from the field and 0 of 3 from the free-throw line to finish with 10 points.

Trazarien White led the way for the Seahawks (21-10) with 24 points. Shykeim Phillips added 16 points, seven rebounds and three steals for UNC Wilmington. KJ Jenkins also put up eight points.
