James Bouknight led a balanced scoring attack for the Capitanes (9-2) with 19 points and four rebounds. Mexico City featured seven players in double figures, showcasing a deep offensive performance. LJ Figueroa provided a spark with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals, while Wade Taylor IV was efficient from long range, scoring 16 points on 4-for-6 shooting from beyond the arc to go along with seven assists. RJ Melendez recorded 16 points and eight rebounds. Point guard Ahmad Caver facilitated the offense effectively, finishing with 15 points and a game-high eight assists. Boo Buie added 14 points, and forward Felipe Haase contributed 13. Andersson Garcia was a dominant presence on the boards, pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds.

Tristen Newton paced the Vipers (5-4) with a game-high 21 points, also contributing four assists and three steals. Daishen Nix scored 16 points but struggled with ball control, committing eight turnovers. Off the bench, Teddy Allen provided 15 points and five assists. Tyler Smith added 14 points, and Isaiah Crawford rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

The Vipers jumped out to an early lead, outscoring the Capitanes 36-25 in the opening quarter. The momentum shifted dramatically in the second quarter, as Mexico City mounted a 36-19 run to take a 61-55 lead into halftime. The Capitanes did not relinquish control, extending their lead in the third quarter and sealing the victory with a 33-14 fourth quarter. The win keeps the Capitanes undefeated on their home court this season.
