Pedulla's 35 points, 10 assists lead Remix past Capitanes

Behind Sean Pedulla's game-high 35 points, the Rip City Remix secured a 130-119 road victory over the Mexico City Capitanes at Mexico City Arena. Rip City established a commanding lead in the first quarter and withstood several rallies from the Capitanes.

The Remix (11-8) were powered by the stellar performance from Pedulla, who recorded a double-double with his 35 points and 10 assists. Blake Hinson provided significant offensive firepower, scoring 27 points, including six 3-pointers, while also contributing five rebounds and five assists. Forward Alex Reese also notched a double-double, finishing with 22 points and a team-high 12 rebounds. The Remix also received key contributions from Liam Robbins, who had 16 points and six rebounds, and Jayson Kent, who added 15 points and seven rebounds in the winning effort.

The Capitanes (13-6) had seven players score in double figures in the loss. James Bouknight led the team with 21 points and three assists. Guard Boo Buie filled the stat sheet with 20 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. Felipe Haase came off the bench to score 16 points, while Wade Taylor IV contributed 12 points and seven assists. Andersson Garcia was a force on the glass, pulling down 12 rebounds to go with his eight points. Other double-digit scorers for the Capitanes included Ahmad Caver with 11 points, and both RJ Melendez and Jordan Minor with 10 points each.

Rip City jumped out to a dominant 38-16 lead after the first quarter. Mexico City fought back, outscoring the Remix 37-32 in the second period to cut the deficit to 17 by halftime. The Capitanes continued to chip away, winning the fourth quarter 38-34, but the early lead built by the Remix proved to be insurmountable.
