Smith scores 32 off bench to fuel Warriors past Hustle

Deivon Smith had 32 points, nine rebounds and seven assists off the bench to propel the Santa Cruz Warriors past the Memphis Hustle 134-116 at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi, on Thursday, splitting their back-to-back set.

Jacksen Moni, who did not play in the previous contest, added 17 points while making five 3-pointers for the Warriors (10-9), who got 70 points from their bench. Santa Cruz shot 18 for 37 from beyond the arc, a stark turnaround from its 6-for-29 performance in Wednesday's loss.

Nate Hinton had a team-high 29 points and 13 rebounds for the Hustle (4-16). Tyler Burton scored 27 points, connecting on six of his nine 3-point attempts, and Eric Dixon, in just his second game with the Hustle, finished with 24 points and five rebounds. DeJon Jarreau added 19 points and six assists off the bench, and Charlie Brown Jr. contributed 12 points and eight rebounds.
