Caleb Love scored 27 points and the Rip City Remix held off a furious late rally to defeat the Santa Cruz Warriors 128-126 at the Chiles Center in Portland on Tuesday night. The game was decided in the final seconds when a potential winning shot by the Warriors fell short.

The Remix (14-10) had multiple players contribute to the victory. Alex Reese scored 25 points, including four crucial free throws in the final minute, and added five rebounds. Andrew Carr posted 20 points and eight rebounds, while Cameron Parker came off the bench to record a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists. Jaylen Martin also had a strong all-around game with 16 points, six rebounds and six assists.

For the Santa Cruz Warriors (11-10), five players scored 16. Charles Bassey led the team with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Deivon Smith also notched a double-double with 20 points, and 11 rebounds and added six assists. Chance McMillian finished with 18 points and nine assists, while Desmond Cambridge Jr. provided 17 points off the bench. Jack Clark and Marques Bolden each chipped in with 16 points.

Rip City built a 63-51 lead by halftime and appeared in control for much of the second half. However, Santa Cruz battled back, erasing a double-digit deficit and briefly taking a 113-112 lead with just over four minutes to play. The teams traded baskets down the stretch, with a key putback by Carr giving the Remix a 122-117 lead with under a minute left. After a frantic final sequence that saw the Warriors pull within one, Reese calmly sank two free throws to make it a 3-point game. Santa Cruz had one final chance, but Jack Clark's 3-point attempt at the horn was no good, securing the win for the Remix.
