Isaih Moore scores career-high 26, Skyhawks beat Boom

Isaih Moore scored a career-high 26 points off the bench on 12-of-13 shooting, leading the College Park Skyhawks to a 140-121 victory over the host Noblesville Boom on Thursday night in Indiana.

The Skyhawks (8-20) featured a balanced offensive attack with eight players scoring in double figures. RayJ Dennis and Asa Newell both recorded double-doubles; Dennis finished with 17 points and 11 assists, and Newell contributed 17 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Keshon Gilbert added 20 points and nine assists in his team debut.

Noblesville (14-14) lost its fifth straight game despite spectacular debuts from newcomers Keion Brooks Jr. and Dakota Mathias. Brooks had a career-high 40 points with eight rebounds. Mathias scored 27 points and dished out six assists. MJ Iraldi chipped in with 16 points for the Boom.

College Park dominated the game inside, outscoring Noblesville 92-42 in the paint and capitalizing on second-chance opportunities with 17 offensive rebounds. The Boom struggled with ball security, committing 22 turnovers.

The game was a back-and-forth contest through the first half, but the Skyhawks broke it open in the third quarter, outscoring the Boom 44-33 to take control. College Park shot 57% from the field for the game and never looked back, building a lead as large as 21 points in the second half.
