TyTy Washington Jr. scores season-high 39 as Clippers top Remix

TyTy Washington Jr. scored for a season-high 39 points and dished out 11 assists to lead the San Diego Clippers to a 128-118 victory over the visiting Rip City Remix on Wednesday night at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.

Zach Freemantle was also a force for the Clippers (14-15) with 33 points and 11 rebounds. Hunter Sallis provided a spark off the bench with 15 points and five steals, and Jahmyl Telfort added 12 points. All 10 Clippers player scored.

The Remix (16-13) were led by an efficient performance from Yang Hansen, who scored 31 points on 14-of-16 shooting. Jayson Kent contributed 21 points, and Chris Youngblood added 17 points and eight rebounds. The Remix also got double-doubles from Alex Reese (14 points and 11 rebounds) and Javonte Cooke (13 points and 10 assists).

The game was a tight, back-and-forth affair featuring nine lead changes. San Diego used a decisive fourth quarter, outscoring Rip City 38-28 to pull away.

Washington was instrumental down the stretch, hitting a step-back 3-pointer to push the lead to 120-109 with 1:32 left, effectively sealing the victory.
