Kyle Mangas scores 26 as Spurs rally past Remix 99-93

Kyle Mangas scored a game-high 26 points, and the Austin Spurs rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat the Rip City Remix 99-93 on Wednesday night at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Texas.

Mangas was efficient for the Spurs (22-12), shooting 8-for-12 from the field, including 5-for-7 from 3-point range, and hitting all five of his free throws. Harrison Ingram recorded 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Jayden Nunn provided a spark off the bench with 15 points. Emanuel Miller added 11 points, and James Banks III controlled had 11 rebounds.

For the Remix (18-17), Yang Hansen scored 20 points, going 9-for-9 from the field, and added nine rebounds and five assists. Chris Youngblood finished with 15 points, and Javonte Cooke contributed 14 points and a game-high nine assists. Jaylen Martin chipped in 12 points from the bench.

The contest, which featured 15 lead changes, was a tight battle with playoff implications for both teams. Rip City used a strong third quarter to build a nine-point lead, its largest of the night. However, Austin stormed back in the final period. Adam Flagler, who scored nine points, hit a layup with just under six minutes to play and followed it with a go-ahead 3-pointer. Mangas sealed the victory by making four consecutive free throws in the final 15 seconds.
