Pullin scores 35 as Wolves roll past Blue

Zyon Pullin scored a game-high 35 points to lead the host Iowa Wolves to a 133-106 victory over the Oklahoma City Blue on Thursday.

Pullin shot 12 for 19 from the field, including six 3-pointers, and added seven assists for the playoff-bound Wolves (20-15). Enrique Freeman added 24 points and nine rebounds. Rocco Zikarsky had 12 points and 13 rebounds while also blocking four shots. Jalen Crutcher chipped in 15 points and a team-high nine assists. Donte Ingram scored 13 points, and CJ Fulton added 11.

The short-handed Blue (12-23), who had only eight players in uniform, were led by Dariq Whitehead's 23 points and five 3-pointers. Nikola Topic had 20 points and 10 assists, while Bryce Thompson also chipped in 20 points. Buddy Boeheim finished with 14 points.

After a competitive first quarter that ended with Iowa ahead 30-29, the Wolves seized control in the second period, outscoring the Blue 36-23 to take a 66-52 lead into halftime. Iowa continued to build its advantage throughout the second half, leading by as many as 29 points. The Wolves capitalized on Oklahoma City's 18 turnovers, converting them into 26 points, and dominated inside with a 70-54 advantage in points in the paint.

Late in the fourth quarter, Fulton was involved in a collision and left the game with a bloody mouth after an offensive foul was called on Kendall Munson.
