The College Park Skyhawks defeated the Texas Legends 129-116 on Friday in Orlando, Florida, to open the NBA G League Winter Showcase. The game was a high-scoring contest dominated by exceptional 3-point shooting from both teams, with three players making at least seven shots from beyond the arc.

The game remained close through the first half, but College Park seized control in the third quarter, outscoring Texas 35-21 to build a lead it would not relinquish. The Skyhawks' victory came after losing center N'Faly Dante to a leg injury early in the first quarter.
