No. 22 Green Bay women top Horizon League co-leader IUPUI

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Allie Leclaire scored 22 points, Jessica Lindstrom had eight points, six rebounds and four steals, and No. 22 Green Bay rallied past IUPUI 52-45 on Sunday for sole possession of first place in the Horizon League.

Green Bay had a 4-2 lead but IUPUI closed the first quarter on a 17-2 run. The Phoenix hit just 2 of 10 shots in the quarter, but opened the second on a 14-3 run -- with seven points by Leclaire -- to pull to 22-20. Green Bay was 8-of-23 shooting in the first half and trailed by six points at the break.

Green Bay tied it at 41 on Lindstrom's back-door cut, assisted by Jen Wellnitz, and Lindstrom scored in the paint on the Phoenix' next possession for their first lead since the opening minutes.

Green Bay (19-2, 9-1), which allows a nation-low 45.7 points per game, made 5 of 6 free throws in the final 14.3 seconds to seal it, closing the game on a 19-4 run.

Sydney Roule scored 11 points and Holly Hoopingarner 10 for IUPUI (16-5, 8-2), which had 22 turnovers. The Jags had their seven-game road winning streak snapped.
