Detroit Mercy hired AnnMarie Gilbert as its new women's basketball coach. Gilbert went 135-18 at Virginia Union in five seasons, including a Division II national title game appearance in 2017.
Bernard Scott, who has a 9-80 record over the past three seasons, will not have his contract renewed by Detroit Mercy, it was announced Thursday.
