And ... pencils down! The NBA trade deadline has passed!
The Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers agreed to a massive Ben Simmons-James Harden trade. The Damian Lillard-CJ McCollum era in Portland ended, with the Blazers sending McCollum to the New Orleans Pelicans. The Indiana Pacers sent guard Caris LeVert to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and acquired Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday.
While the Los Angeles Lakers couldn't land a deal for Russell Westbrook or Talen Horton-Tucker, and the New York Knicks held pat, the NBA champion Bucks acquired Serge Ibaka from the Los Angeles Clippers in a four-team trade; the Hornets strengthened their frontcourt with Montrezl Harrell; and the Washington Wizards acquired All-Star Kristaps Porzingis, 26, from the Dallas Mavericks.
