Udinese 1-3 Palermo
Palermo's long wait for a second Serie A away win of the season came to an end with a 3-1 triumph at Udinese on Sunday.Achraaf Lazaar put the visitors on their way in the 15th minute before Luca Rigoni doubled Palermo's lead six minutes later and Ivaylo Chochev made it 3-0 in the 66th minute.Udinese, who lost to bottom-side Parma in their previous game, did not take a shot on goal until nine minutes from time when Antonio Di Natale beat Palermo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino with a right-footed strike. The win at the Friuli stadium, Palermo's first on the road since November 2, halted a three-game losing streak for the Sicilian outfit and lifted them to 11th in the standings.Udinese, meanwhile, are without a win in their last five games - having mustered just one win in their last 10 home matches - and dropped to 14th as a result. The hosts could have taken a third-minute lead when Allan's cross found Di Natale in the 18-yard box but the Udinese captain struck the ball wide from a good position.Palermo went ahead 12 minutes later when Paulo Dybala spotted Lazaar just outside the area and his left-footed strike beat Udinese goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis. The visitors required only six minutes to double their lead. Dybala, again acting as provider, set up Rigoni in the area and his left-footed shot towards the far post beat Karnezis.Palermo were unlucky not to extend their advantage one minute before the interval with Dybala's 12-yard shot crashing off the post with Karnezis already beaten. The Sicilians continued to press forward after the re-start and, in the 56th minute, Karnezis was called on to dive to his right to clear Franco Vazquez's 30-yard attempt.Udinese then had an opportunity to reduce the arrears but Giampiero Pinzi struck his close-range effort wide.Palermo made no mistake when they had their next chance as Chochev's close-range header from Andrea Rispoli's cross beat Karnezis. With 10 minutes remaining, Rispoli was unlucky not to make it 4-0 when his 25-yard shot hit the post.Udinese finally hit the back of the net when Allan set up Di Natale in the box and his right-footed shot towards the near post beat Sorrentino for a mere consolation.ends
