Stranraer maintained their push for the final play-off place in Ladbrokes League One as they made it four games unbeaten with a comfortable 3-1 win over Stenhousemuir.Mark McGuigan opened the scoring after just five minutes with a calm finish as he took advantage of a Willie Gibson interception, and it was 2-0 10 minutes later when Scott Robertson fired home after Colin McCabe had saved from McGuigan.Striker McGuigan had his second eight minutes before the break after being set up by Kyle Turner, and the home side went in 3-0 up after a half they had totally dominated.Stenhousemuir got a foothold in the game when Craig Pettigrew felled Mark Gilhaney in the area and Jason Scotland netted from the spot, but Stranraer held on for victory.
