Stenhousemuir move into play-off picture with Airdrie win
Stenhousemuir pushed themselves into the Ladbrokes League One play-off race after a late 3-2 victory against 10-man Airdrie.Nicky Cadden fired Airdrie into a fifth-minute lead, but they were pegged back by Ciaran Summers' brilliant strike from distance 13 minutes later. The visitors were suddenly faced with a mountain to climb when midfielder David Cox was sent off just before the break, but Jim Lister put them back in front a minute after the restart by stroking home Cadden's cross. This time the lead lasted just seven minutes as Jamie McCormack equalised from close range for Stenhousemuir, before his second strike in stoppage-time clinched the win and moved them just a point behind fourth-placed Airdrie.
