Liam Watt shines as bottom club Brechin claim big win over Forfar
On-loan midfielder Liam Watt bagged a brace as bottom-of-the-table Brechin secured a morale-boosting 4-0 victory over fellow Scottish League One strugglers Forfar. The hosts opened the scoring in the 24th minute through Watt, who placed the ball in the bottom corner following good work from Robert Thomson.Watt then turned provider just six minutes later as player-manager Darren Dods extended their lead with a header.City always looked dangerous in attack and 22-year-old Watt put the game beyond their opponents with the third goal in the 59th minute before Thomson added a fourth with 10 minutes remaining.Gareth Rodger was sent off in the last minute to complete a miserable night for Forfar.
