Colin McMenamin inspires Stenhousemuir to victory
A man-of-the-match performance from Colin McMenamin inspired Stenhousemuir to a 2-1 against 10-man Brechin at Glebe Park.Play was delayed after Brechin goalkeeper Graeme Smith mistakenly turned up to Stenhousemuir's Ochilview ground before making a one hour and 40 minute journey to make it in time for kick-off.And things went from bad to worse as Smith was forced to pick the ball out of his own net just before the hour mark when Cook was played through by McMenamin before slotting home. After dominating for long periods, Brechin got their equaliser through Isaac Layne but McMenamin grabbed the winner 10 minutes from time with a neat finish. Brechin's afternoon did not get better when Willie Dyer was sent off for his second bookable offence as Stenhousemuir climb into third place while the hosts remain bottom.
