Dallas rallies from three down to tie Montreal
FC Dallas scored two goals in a six-minute span late in the second half, including a 90th-minute equalizer from Ryan Hollingshead, to cap a rally from three goals down to draw with the Montreal Impact 3-3 on Saturday.
Lassi Lappalainen scored twice in the first half, and Orji Okwonkwo added another early in the second, but it wasn't enough for the Impact (10-13-4, 34 points) to hang on.
Reto Ziegler cut Dallas' deficit to 3-2 in the 85th minute on a penalty kick before Hollingshead capped the rally with a leaping header, nodding Michael Barrios' in-swinging cross into the far corner past Impact goalkeeper Evan Bush.

It did not take Montreal long to find the back of the net. Eight minutes into the contest, Dallas defender Matt Hedges whiffed while trying to control a soft through ball, giving Lappalainen a breakaway. The Finnish 20-year-old calmly curled a shot into the far corner.
Lappalainen was stymied on a 38th-minute chance by keeper Jesse Gonzalez, but he capitalized on another Dallas error in the first minute of first-half stoppage time. He picked off midfielder Jesus Ferreira's pass and broke in free for his second tally.
In the 56th minute, Okwonkwo made it 3-0, extending fully with his right leg to poke in a gorgeous outside-of-the-foot cross from Saphir Taider.
But Dallas, which had been shut out in four of its past five road contests, did not go quietly.
Zdenek Ondrasek broke through in the 59th minute, slotting home a rebound after a deflection to make it a 3-1 game. FC Dallas surged after the goal, dominating the remainder of the half.
Ziegler's penalty came after a handball was called on Ken Krolicki during a scramble in the box after a corner kick.
With the tie, Dallas improved to 3-9-2 in road matches this season.
The Impact had lost six of their last seven entering Saturday. It was their first draw since mid May.
