- Adam Buksa - 86'
New England Revolution extends Columbus SC's historic road drought
Adam Buksa entered in the 83rd minute and scored the winner three minutes later as the New England Revolution defeated visiting Columbus SC 1-0 on Sunday in Foxborough, Mass.
The Revolution have won their first three matches at Gillette Stadium to surpass their home win total of last season (2-3-5). They last won their first three home games in 2005, when the streak reached four games.
Columbus was shut out for the fourth time and has scored three goals this season -- two of them own goals by D.C. United. Lucas Zelarayan has the lone goal for Columbus this season. He was rested Sunday because of a busy schedule.

New England took a quick restart after a midfield foul and Brandon Bye sent a cross from the right flank to the center of the box where Buksa had possession on defender Jonathan Mensah for his second goal of the season.
Matt Turner made one save for his second shutout this season.
The Crew are now winless in a club-record 15 straight road matches (excluding neutral-site games during the MLS Is Back Tournament near Orlando, Fla., in 2020). They are 0-8-7 since winning 3-1 at Atlanta United on Sept. 14, 2019.
Carles Gil had a prime opportunity for New England in the 32nd minute but Eloy Room got a touch on the ball and it went off the right post. Gil was 10 yards in front of the goal for a low strike that Room was able to deflect with his left hand.
Columbus had its own problems with the woodwork in the 62nd minute when Artur had a well-struck ball from 18 yards smack the left post.
Combined with the CONCACAF Champions League play, the Crew on Sunday completed their sixth game in 19 days.
Both clubs are idle until May 22 when Columbus completes a three-game trip at New York City FC and the Revolution host the New York Red Bulls.
