MIAMI -- — Elias King scored 18 points as Middle Tennessee beat Florida International 68-66 on Saturday.
King also contributed nine rebounds for the Blue Raiders (9-15, 3-6 Conference USA). Jared Jones added 13 points while going 5 of 7 and 2 of 4 from the free throw line, and he also had 13 rebounds. Justin Bufford had 12 points and shot 5 of 10 from the field and 1 for 4 from the line. Jestin Porter scored 11 points with his bucket giving Middle Tennessee the lead for good with 44 seconds remaining.
