Balanc has 18 as Quinnipiac takes down Navy 71-68
HAMDEN, Conn. -- — Matt Balanc had 18 points in Quinnipiac's 71-68 win over Navy on Friday night.
Balanc added six rebounds and three steals for the Bobcats (7-2). Paul Otieno added 13 points while going 4 of 7 and 5 of 7 from the free throw line, and they also had seven rebounds. Amarri Tice shot 2 for 9 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 7 of 8 from the free throw line to finish with 12 points.
The Midshipmen (2-6) were led in scoring by Kam Summers, who finished with 16 points. Austin Benigni added 16 points for Navy. In addition, Austin Inge finished with 11 points, four assists and three steals.
