PHILADELPHIA -- — Amari Williams scored 14 points as Drexel beat Albany 71-52 on Saturday.
Williams also had 11 rebounds for the Dragons (6-5). Mate Okros scored 10 points, shooting 2 for 6 from beyond the arc and 4 of 4 from the free throw line. Jamie Bergens finished 4 of 8 from the field to finish with nine points.
Amar'e Marshall led the Great Danes (6-5) in scoring, finishing with 10 points and three steals. Sebastian Thomas added 10 points, five assists and three steals for Albany (NY). In addition, Jonathan Beagle finished with nine points and eight rebounds.
Drexel plays host to Penn State-Greater Allegheny Monday. The Great Danes host Sacred Heart Tuesday.
