NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- — Jordan Jones' 33 points led Cent. Conn. St. over Sacred Heart 77-70 on Thursday night.
Jones also contributed four steals for the Blue Devils (14-9, 8-2 Northeast Conference). Jayden Brown scored 11 points while going 3 of 5 and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. Tre Breland III had nine points and was 4 of 12 shooting (1 for 5 from 3-point range).
The Pioneers (12-13, 6-4) were led in scoring by Joey Reilly, who finished with 17 points. Sacred Heart also got 16 points, seven rebounds and six steals from Nico Galette. In addition, Alex Sobel had 16 points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
