Joseph, Tezeno power Southern to 109-60 romp over Champion Christian
BATON ROUGE, La. -- — Tai'Reon Joseph scored 25 points, Derrick Tezeno had a double-double off the bench and Southern rolled to a 109-60 victory over Champion Christian on Tuesday night.
Joseph added five rebounds, five steals and four assists for the Jaguars (4-6). Tezeno totaled 19 points and 12 rebounds. Freshman reserve Jordan Johnson added 16 points. Brandon Davis and Tidjiane Dioumassi scored 13 and 10, respectively.
Noah Brooks scored 14 off the bench to lead the Tigers. Fellow reserve KJ Younge scored 12.
