BALTIMORE -- — Julius Ellerbe had 16 points in Coppin State's 63-61 victory against North Carolina Central on Saturday night.
Ellerbe added eight rebounds for the Eagles (2-13, 1-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Camaren Sparrrow added 14 points while shooting 4 for 7, including 4 for 5 from beyond the arc while they also had five assists. Toby Nnadozie shot 3 of 8 from the field, including 3 for 6 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 4 from the line to finish with 11 points.
