Boston has already clinched the wild card and will face Cleveland in the Division Series. The Red Sox already have surpassed last season's club, which went 92-70.

Boston's Nomar Garciaparra, who has not played this weekend due to a sore wrist, will win his first batting title with a .357 average.

Pat Rapp (6-7, 4.18 ERA) starts for the Red Sox. The righthander is 0-2 in his last five starts after winning four straight decisions. He gave up two runs -- one earned -- and four hits over six innings in a no-decision against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday.

Rapp has allowed just one run and eight hits over 10 innings in two appearances against Baltimore this season. He won his only career decision vs. the Orioles.

The Orioles showed signs of a life with a strong September but will finish with a losing record for the second straight year.

Scott Kamieniecki (2-4, 5.26) will start for the Orioles in the season finale. He pitched two scoreless innings in relief in Thursday's win over the Yankees in the first game of a doubleheader.

Boston leads the season series, 6-5.
