Garrett powers Swarm past Go-Go to complete sweep

Marcus Garrett scored 26 points to lead five players in double figures as the host Greensboro Swarm defeated the Capital City Go-Go 119-107 on Thursday night to complete a back-to-back sweep.

Jaylen Sims, the franchise's all-time leading scorer, finished with 25 points, including three 3-pointers for the Swarm (14-6). PJ Hall had 20 points and 16 rebounds. DJ Rodman scored 18 points off the bench, going 5-for-5 from 3-point range to tie Xavier Sneed for the Swarm franchise record for most made 3-pointers in a game without a miss. Antonio Reeves added 15 points.

After a scoreless first half, Alondes Williams scored 24 while adding six assists and five rebounds for the Go-Go (10-10). Skal Labissiere and Kadary Richmond also scored 24 points apiece, and Keshon Gilbert chipped in with 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

Despite trailing by as many as 21 points, Capital City mounted several rallies and cut the deficit to single digits late in the fourth quarter. However, Greensboro answered each charge, with Sims hitting a 3-pointer late in the game to help secure the victory.
