PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Kate Cain scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Jasmine Cincore added 11 and seven to help Nebraska beat No. 25 Rutgers 52-42 on Sunday night.

Rutgers (17-5, 3-2) trimmed its deficit to 45-42 when Nigia Greene hit a 3-pointer with 5:56 to play, but the Scarlet Knights went scoreless from there, missing all six of their field-goal attempts and committing two turnovers as Nebraska closed on a 7-0 run.

Nebraska's Maddie Simon converted a 3-point play and then hit a jumper to spark a 7-0 spurt that made it 11-6 and Rutgers trailed the rest of the way.
