MLB roundup: An idea for Charlie Sheen, Indians; Kershaw set to face Cubs

The Indians could have Charlie Sheen, aka Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn, come in from the bullpen in a World Series game to fire up their fans. Diamond Images/Getty Images

In spite of his offer, actor Charlie Sheen won't throw out the first pitch before a World Series game. On Friday's podcast, we talked about the Indians' options, and I thought Karl Ravech's suggestion was perfect: Use Sheen as a prop to pump up the fans.

Before Game 2 -- or maybe you save him for Game 6 or Game 7 -- have him emerge from the Indians' bullpen in right-center field, fully dressed in Wild Thing garb and hair, accompanied by the "Wild Thing" music, and have him stalk to the mound and go through his routine before throwing a pitch.
