Oh man, were the Florida Panthers steamed Monday night. The normally mild-mannered Nick Bjugstad, a guy with a laid-back California vibe that belies his Minnesota roots, didn’t mince words when asked about Justin Abdelkader's hit that knocked Florida’s best player, Aleksander Barkov, out of the game.
He didn’t like the hit. He thought it was cheap. He thought, if you asked the Red Wings, they would probably even agree. For the record, they didn’t agree.
