We have already seen some big names -- such as Craig Kimbrel and Andrelton Simmons -- traded this offseason. But those deals were just the appetizers.

The main course is still on the way, as some of the game's biggest names are expected to be dealt between now and the end of the winter meetings, which will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, in early December. The Cincinnati Reds are entertaining offers on a trio of players: Aroldis Chapman, Todd Frazier and Jay Bruce. The Colorado Rockies are listening to bids for Carlos Gonzalez, only three months after dealing Troy Tulowitzki to the Toronto Blue Jays, and the New York Yankees will hear out everyone about anyone who has an open mind and doesn't have a no-trade clause. The San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies and Tampa Bay Rays continue to shop proven players as they attempt to rebuild.

One thing is for sure -- with this generation of GMs, blockbuster trades are becoming the norm. So put on your seat belts and get ready for more big deals this offseason. Here are 10 big-name players who I think could be dealt this winter:

1. Aroldis Chapman, closer, Cincinnati Reds

The Reds' front office is listening intently to trade proposals for Chapman, and if Cincinnati can get anything close to the return the Padres got from the Red Sox for Kimbrel, a news conference will be called soon after. I asked Reds GM Dick Williams on Thursday if he was close on a Chapman deal and he responded, "It's hard to tell, but we're working on it now."

Chapman is an impact left-handed closer who often hits triple digits on the radar gun and who has a staggering 546 strikeouts in 319 innings of work in his six seasons in Cincinnati. He is a free agent after next year and would be a ninth-inning game changer for any contending team.

Possible destinations: Astros, Nationals, Yankees, Dodgers.
