BRADU OUTDUELS GARRARD AS PATRIOTS TOP JAGUARS

Not surprisingly, Tom Brady's 141.4 quarterback rating set a New England Patriots single-game postseason record (minimum: 20 passes), breaking his own record of 130.5 set in the 2004 AFC title game at Pittsburgh.

But not many folks would have expected that Jacksonville quarterback David Garrard would become only the second quarterback to produce a postseason triple-digit rating against the Patriots since Bill Belichick became the head coach. Garrard, with a 100.3 rating, joined Jake Delhomme, who had a 113.6 rating in Carolina's Super Bowl XXXVIII loss to New England following the 2003 season.
