Abandoned match sees Sri Lanka through to final

Sri Lanka A progressed to the final of the triangular tournament after rain caused play to be abandoned in their encounter against Kenya in Nairobi. Sri Lanka A won the toss and chose to field but, with only five deliveries bowled, a downpour stopped play. Nearly three hours later, the match was called off due to a wet outfield.

Despite both Kenya and Sri Lanka A winning only one league game, Sri Lanka A secured their berth in the final by virtue of the bonus point they picked up in their victory against India A.

They face India A in the final on Wednesday.
