Bangladesh Under-19s 144 for 6 (Nazmul 60, Lewis 2-24) beat West Indies Under-19s 143 (Mindley 38, Motie 38, Hasan 5-17) by 4 wickets
Scorecard
Nazmul Hossain Shanto's 60 consolidated Bangladesh U-19's series lead, as they beat West Indies U-19 by four wickets in Georgetown to go 3-1 up. West Indies opted to bat, but were pegged back early as Rifat Pradhan dismissed both opening batsmen with the score on 16.
Another double blow when West Indies were on 38 pushed them further on the back foot. At one point they were 51 for 7 - Mehedy Hasan ran through the middle order with a spell of 5 for 17 - and faced the ignominy of being dismissed under a 100, but Marquino Mindley and Gudakesh Motie saved them blushes with a 64-run stand for the eight wicket, as West Indies reached 143 in the 47th over.
West Indies would have smelt a chance at victory when they removed both openers with the score on just 4, but a 42-run partnership between Mosaddek Hossain and Nazmul, followed by a 69-run stand between Nazmul and Hasan, took the game away from the West Indies, as they secured the four-wicket win in the 40th over.
