6.02pm New Zealand go three in three. A highly comfortable win against a quality Australia side. They should be through to the semis now. Chasing 104, it was Bates and Priest that set it up with a sensational stand in quick time. A few wickets in the middle made it interesting for a little while but Australia were always chasing the game. In the end, their 103 was nowhere near enough. A quality all-round performance this from New Zealand.
Leigh Kasperek is the Player of the Match: "It is pretty exciting, and a great bunch of girls. I thought all the bowlers bowled pretty well to keep them under 120."
Suzie Bates: "We have found the funny side (the long day). Really proud of the way we played today but under no illusion. I'm sure if we play the way we are we can win it. We are treating every game as a knockout game. if things go our way, we can win it."
Meg Lanning: "Obviously disappointing. we never quite got into the game. Once you get on the back foot, very difficult. NZ outplayed us in this game. Harris would have been handy on a wicket like this but our squad is very capable, we have just not been able to put it on the park often enough. We just didn't play well enough and NZ did."
