6.16pm Easy in the end, a clinical batting performance from Australia to make the chase of 124 look so comfortable. A cruise. SL got rid of Healy relatively early but two really well-timed and controlled innings' from Villani and Lanning take Australia home, ensuring they are the ones who finish it. SL weren't very good with the ball or in the field, lots of fumbles and misfields and lots of free runs conceded. Did not have anywhere close to enough in the end and Australia showed their class. Good chance to qualify for the semis too now.

Villani is the Player of the Match: "I gave myself a little more time, in the sub-continent I needed time to get used to the conditions. Kept it along the carpet too. Played to my strengths. Every game now is like a WC final so can't afford to slip up anymore."

Meg Lanning: "SL got off to an excellent start, looked like we would have to chase 140-150. But our bowlers bowled very well to pull it back towards the end. We didn't lose the early wickets and our openers came out with very good intent. "

Chamari Atapattu: "Proud of my batting performance. Tried to score more runs in the first 10 overs, but we lost too many wickets towards the end."
