1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain)
Ibrahimovic was at the centre of all four of PSG's goals in a 4-1 win over Reims on Saturday. His brace and a pair of assists takes his season tally to 23 goals and 10 assists in 21 Ligue 1 appearances. The super Swede is on pace to record, statistically speaking, his best season since moving to Paris in 2012.
2. Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich)
Muller netted an acrobatic brace against Darmstadt on Saturday in another man-of-the-match performance for Bayern. The German international has already scored four more goals than in any Bundesliga campaign of his career. Further illustrating Muller's form and importance, Bayern haven't lost in 69 straight league games in which he's scored.
3. Dimitri Payet (West Ham United)
Blackburn may be teetering on the edge of a relegation fight in England's second division, but that shouldn't excuse the masterclass Payet demonstrated against Rovers in the FA Cup on Sunday. His free-kick goal was predictably sublime, and the slalom run he completed before scoring his second portrayed the Frenchman as a man among boys. It's no surprise France manager Didier Deschamps has taken notice of Payet's exploits.
4. Carlos Kameni (Malaga)
Kameni made six saves as Malaga came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid, a result that all but ended Los Blancos' title hopes. No stop was bigger than the Cameroonian's penalty save on Cristiano Ronaldo just two minutes after the Portuguese had headed his side to a 1-0 lead.
5. Edin Dzeko (Roma)
Dzeko committed a strong contender for miss of the season in Roma's 5-0 hammering of Palermo on Sunday, but the Bosnian rebounded well to score a pair of goals before setting up Mohamed Salah with another. Without doubt, the best performance Dzeko has put in since joining Roma in the summer.
6. Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
No PFA Player of the Year has endured such a decline in the season following his award as the one Hazard is currently suffering through, as Miguel Delaney wrote last week. The Belgian is beginning to show signs of recovery, though, scoring in Chelsea's 5-1 smashing of Manchester City in the FA Cup on Sunday and picking up a pair of assists along the way.
7. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund)
Aubameyang was isolated in Dortmund's tense 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen, but the Gabonese managed to take his chance and scored the game's only goal. Equally important from a personal point of view, he answered Robert Lewandowski's weekend strike to remain one goal behind the Pole for the race to be the Bundesliga's top scorer.
8. Luis Suarez (Barcelona)
In a match in which all of his teammates looked flat, Suarez was the sole Barcelona player who elevated his game. The Uruguayan scored once and his competitiveness resulted in Neymar's eventual winner in the 2-1 victory at Las Palmas. Those three points have set the Catalan club on course for the title, with both Real Madrid and Atletico dropping points at the weekend.
9. Eldin Jakupovic (Hull City)
Hull No. 2 Jakupovic has made eight appearances for Hull, none of which in the league, and just one international appearance for the Swiss national team in 2008. Yet it was the Hull City stopper who stole the headlines in the 0-0 FA Cup draw at Arsenal, making 11 saves in the process.
10. Neymar (Barcelona)
The Brazilian wasn't alone in not quite hitting top gear in Barcelona's 2-1 win over Las Palmas, but Neymar did manage to finish the chance offered up by Suarez, scoring the winner in the process.
