Transfer Rater: Man United's Fellaini to West Ham, Liverpool target Bazoer

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the Whisper. Here are today's top five emerging whispers...

Nikola Maksimovic to West Ham

Serbian centre-back Nikola Maksimovic is yet again interesting West Ham United. The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Napoli, having joined from Torino in the summer, but is struggling to break into the first-team at the Stadio San Paolo. Bilic believes Maksimovic would shore up the Hammers' defence which is conceding, on average, two goals per match this season.

Rick Karsdorp to Man United

CalcioMercato believe both Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in bringing Feyenoord right-back Rick Karsdorp to the Premier League. The 21-year-old is capable of playing in a variety of roles and has excelled in Feyenoord's surprising start to the season which has seen them top the Eredivisie. United right-back Matteo Darmian looks set to move back to Italy in January and Mourinho wants a player to contest the full-back position with Antonio Valencia. Karsdorp won't come cheap though, his current deal runs until 2020.

Marouane Fellaini to West Ham

The Telegraph have linked West Ham with a loan move for Manchester United utility man Marouane Fellaini. The Belgian has found himself out of favour at Old Trafford as of late and it is believed Mourinho is open to offers. Hammers boss Slaven Bilic may opt to deploy Fellaini in an attacking position due to their struggles in that area of the team so far this season.

James McCarthy to Celtic

Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring boyhood Celtic fan, and current Everton player, James McCarthy to Celtic Park on loan in January. McCarthy has failed to impress new Everton boss Ronald Koeman and has lost his starting position to Idrissa Gueye. Crystal Palace nearly signed the midfielder in August and are said to be still interested in him but Celtic hope to play on the fact he supports the club in attempt to pip the Premier League side to his signing.

Riechedly Bazoer to Liverpool

Corriere dello Sport are claiming Roma, Arsenal and Liverpool are all showing an interest in Ajax midfielder Riechedly Bazoer. The highly rated midfielder has been told he can leave the Amsterdam Arena if a club matches their valuation - £12.5 million. It's a drop in the ocean for the Premier League clubs and shouldn't be a stumbling block.
