Falcao wants Madrid move
Let's kick off with a tale that could potentially mean good news for Liverpool -- and bad news for their Premier League rivals.
AS in Spain report that Falcao has turned his nose up at the Premier League as he waits for Real Madrid.
Now, this could work in Liverpool's favour as it's highly unlikely the European champions will pursue both Falcao and Luis Suarez this summer. Suarez has been heavily linked with a switch to Spain with Madrid and Barcelona keen but news of the former's interest in Falcao could mean they have a contingency plan in place.
It's a pretty decent plan B as well, considering Falcao has scored a frankly ridiculous 136 goals in 227 league matches in his career so far. His preference for Real Madrid, though, means bad news for clubs courting the Colombian. The AS report curiously links Tottenham to the Monaco man but that's pretty wishful thinking.
The Daily Mirror, meanwhile, reckons Liverpool themselves are keen on Falcao.
Paul Pogba signs for Chelsea... sort of
The Juventus midfielder, who Manchester United once ignored to play Park Ji-sung and Rafael in midfield, has been pictured in a Chelsea shirt on Football Manager!
Pogba signed himself while manager of Chelsea on the hit football game as he had some downtime during France's World Cup campaign.
Fooled you there for a minute, didn't we? But with the Frenchman coveted this summer, we wonder if the fact he chose to be Blue may mean something after all?
Balotelli can leave Milan
Mario Balotelli and Arsene Wenger seems like the oddest of odd couples but talk of the Italian's move to Arsenal will not go away.
We're surprised Wenger would want to try and tame the AC Milan striker but it's clear he's in the hunt for more attacking options and a deal could be done.

Cavani refuses to rule out leaving PSG
Another day, another Edinson Cavani line. The Paris St-Germain striker is currently on World Cup duty with Uruguay but The Manchester Evening news are running some quotes from the man himself regarding his future.
When asked whether he could leave, he's pretty non-committal to the team who spent 56 million pounds on him just last summer: "In football you never know. Anything can happen. One day you're in one team and they next day you can be in another."
You've guessed it; Manchester United have been linked with the 27-year-old, who scored 25 goals in his debut season for PSG.
Barca struggling to do deals
Barcelona's need for a central defender is well documented but it appears clubs realise this and this has led to Nou Camp frustration. Aware the La Liga runners-up need reinforcements in that area, the price for top talent has been pushed up, which means Porto's Eliaquim Mangala and Atletico Madrid's Miranda are unlikely to be moving there this summer.
Marca say that both players have been priced out of a move to Barcelona, as Porto and Atleti won't budge on the valuations of the players. Jorge Nuno Pinta da Costa, the hardline Porto president, wants an incredible 45 million euros for Mangala and Transfer Talk can tell you one thing: he's not worth that.
Similarly, Miranda is said to be going for around 30 million euros and that's a lot of cash for a player who's creeping up to 30.
Gomis to Swansea
France Football say Bafetimbi Gomis is heading to Swansea and the move could be official as early as this week.
The striker, who has been heavily linked with Newcastle, scored 14 in 34 league matches for Lyon last season but will leave the club after failing to agree a new deal.
Swansea, it seems, have pulled off a coup as they have reportedly stepped in to seal a three-year contract for the Frenchman. Newcastle were apparently put off by his wage demands (said to be around 75,000 pounds-a-week) and if Swansea have agreed something similar, you have to wonder whether they can keep Gomis and Wilfried Bony.
Surprise, surprise...
Belgium hero Divock Origi has already been linked with a move to England following his winner against Russia. Tottenham are keen, according to the Daily Mirror.
