Transfer Talk can only apologise, for today is Luis Suarez day. Just like yesterday. And the day before that. And ... you get the picture. It is a day when the Spanish press whip themselves up into a frenzy and pine for the Liverpool striker to free himself from the Anfield club's clutches and ensconce himself in Barcelona's warm embrace.
It will be like this for a while, readers. We will try to get through the monotony the best we can, but ultimately, this has been running for over a year and will only end once Suarez actually does leave Liverpool.
There are a few developments to get through, and the first is provided by Suarez's father-in-law, who's landed him right in it by saying the Liverpool striker wants out. That's covered here , and is backed up by Mundo Deportivo revealing Suarez wants to join Barcelona. It'll probably be Real Madrid by the weekend.
In the interests of balance, though, The Liverpool Echo reckon Brendan Rodgers is relaxed about the speculation regarding his side's best player.

Luke Shaw will become the most expensive teenager in the history of the game of football.
Let that sentence sink in for a minute before you have a look at the Daily Mirror's back page regarding the Southampton left-back's potential move to Manchester United.
Sure, the argument is that fee will be seen as a bargain if they get 10 to 15 years out of Shaw, but it's still a staggering amount of money for an 18-year-old left-back who only enjoyed his breakthrough season at the top level last season.
Ajax's Daley Blind, for example, is available for a fraction of the price, and the Netherlands' World Cup star can play in multiple positions.
Chelsea fan Shaw turns 19 next month, has experienced a World Cup with England and is seemingly set to become the world's most expensive teenager. Excuse Transfer Talk while we rock back and forth in a darkened room, wondering where it all went wrong.
Arsenal want Ivanovic?

Di Maria coy on Juventus interest
Reporters appear to have grabbed a word with Angel Di Maria while he's out in Brazil trying to win the World Cup with Argentina.
The Real Madrid attacker is highly coveted, having flourished at the Bernabeu, and Juventus are apparently among the suitors.
Di Maria said: "Juventus? I do not know anything about that. My agent is responsible for those things."

From Rio to QPR
In news that will surprise nobody, it appears as though Rio Ferdinand is heading to Queens Park Rangers, according to The Daily Mail.
Harry Redknapp handed Ferdinand his debut at West Ham in 1996 and the latter has used a personal trainer while on punditry duty at the World Cup to keep fit. He's a free agent following his release from Manchester United but the Mail reckons that will change soon, with a deal to take him to the Premier League new boys set to be agreed this week.
These sort of signings are Redknapp's forte -- but don't call him a wheeler-dealer.

We're big fans of Sporting Lisbon's Eric Dier. Born in Cheltenham, England, he left his home country when he was just 10 and rose through the ranks at the Portuguese side, making his debut for the senior team eight years later.
It's an interesting story, but the defender's spell in Portugal could be coming to an end if this report from A Bola stands up. Everton and Tottenham have been linked with Dier, now 20.
