Roma ready to swap Radja Nainggolan for Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic

The summer window will be opening before you know it, and rumours around the world are picking up steam. As always, Transfer Talk has its finger on the pulse when it comes to the latest gossip. See the latest deals here.

TOP STORY: Is it bye bye to Branislav?

Ever since Antonio Conte was confirmed as Chelsea manager next season, one player in particular has been linked with arriving there too -- Roma's Radja Nainggolan.

That, the Mirror reports, is moving closer -- but it could also mean goodbye to a loyal Chelsea servant.

That's because Roma are after Blues defender Branislav Ivanovic, paving the way for him to be part of a deal to bring 27-year-old Nainggolan to Stamford Bridge.

The Mirror notes that the 32-year-old only recently signed a Chelsea contract extension, but it says Conte "is now considering other options."

United players 'frustrated' by LVG blame game

At a time when some reports suggest Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be keen on moving to United only if Louis van Gaal was no longer manager, the Times suggests that Old Trafford dressing room discontent with the Dutchman is increasing.

The paper says "a number of senior players are growing increasingly frustrated with the manager's tendency to blame them for poor results and performances rather than acknowledging any shortcomings in his tactics or style of play."

It adds that there is exasperation that he "focuses on their failure to implement his tactical plan, rather than acknowledging any failure of the plan itself."

And LVG's "determination to play players out of position" has left some of them "increasingly baffled," it says.

Liverpool vs. Dortmund -- this time, it's in the market

It's not only in the Europa League that Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are doing battle. Ahead of the second leg of their quarterfinal at Anfield, the Guardian tells us that both clubs are after Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud.

Dahoud, a Germany under-21 international, is just the sort of player Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admires -- young (he's 20), technically gifted and with plenty of scope to keep on improving. Just the sort of talent Klopp was renowned for developing during his Dortmund days, in fact.

Gladbach could be set to lose Granit Xhaka to Arsenal in the summer, with the Gunners reported to have tabled an opening bid of around £24 million -- and that would make them reluctant to lose Dahoud as well.

But the Guardian reckons a bidding battle between the Merseysiders and Dortmund could push the price up to around £25 million -- and that might well be enough.

Silva: Don't do it, Zlatan!

Could Tuesday night be a tantalising preview of forthcoming attractions as Ibrahimovic struts his stuff on a Premier League pitch?

Zlatan and PSG take on Manchester City in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal at the Etihad, where there will (naturally) be plenty of focus on the Swede, strongly linked with a move to the Premier League -- and most strongly to City's neighbours United.

But hold on a moment, says his PSG captain Thiago Silva. Why on Earth would he want to do that?

Silva has been quoted as saying he thinks a Premier League move would be "a step down" for Ibrahimovic, who he believes is in the finest form of his career at the age of 34.

Calling the striker "one of the best in the world" and "unique," he warned: "I know he has offers from England, and it is a big league -- but I don't think there is a team in England that is at the level of PSG at the moment.

"For me, it would be a step down in quality for him."

Ibrahimovic is out of contract at PSG in the summer and, although his agent has said it is possible he could stay with the Ligue 1 champions, Arsenal and Chelsea are also in the frame to sign him.

Tap-ins

- Who among you remembers Jason Dozzell, once of Ipswich and Spurs? Well, the Dozzell name is back in the spotlight again, with Liverpool poised to sign his son Andre Dozzell from Ipswich, the place where Dozzell Sr made his name.

Liverpool would have to pay the East Anglians around £1.5 million in compensation for the England under-17 midfielder, the Mirror says. It adds that officials are already in talks with their Suffolk counterparts.

- Argentine forward Gustavo Bou is on West Ham's summer radar, according to the Mirror, with the Londoners keeping tabs on the prolific Racing Club man.

Bou, who has scored a mere 43 goals in 50 games, would cost the Londoners around £9 million, it believes. And that might not do much for the mood of Diafra Sakho, reportedly unsettled by the Hammers' plans to bring in another striker during the window.

- Teenage Coventry City striker Bassala Sambou is set to move to Everton in the summer, the Coventry Evening Telegraph reports.

It says the 18-year-old "has refused to sign his first professional deal with his hometown club" after scoring a total of 25 goals for the League One club's under-18 and under-21 sides and now seems bound for Goodison Park.
