Transfer Rater: Ulloa to Swansea, Batshuayi to West Ham United

Things change in the blink of an eye in football.

The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest rumours ...

Onyinye Wilfred Ndidi to Leicester City

According to reports in Belgium, Leicester are lining up a bid to bring Genk midfielder Ndidi to the King Power and are prepared to pay £15 million to secure his services. Leicester are in the market for midfield reinforcements having struggled since the departure of N'Golo Kante and think the 19-year-old could be perfect to fill the void.

Alexander Scholz to Everton

Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure claim Everton are keen on Standard Liege centre-back Alexander Scholz, and have scouted him over a number of weeks. Phil Jagielka has endured a poor start to the season and Ramiro Funes Mori is reportedly looking to move as he looks for first team football, leading to Everton identifying the 24-year-old centre-back as a long-term solution.

Leonardo Ulloa to Swansea

The Daily Mirror report that Swansea and Sunderland are interested in Leicester forward Ulloa. Swansea were keen on the Argentinian in August but the clubs couldn't agree a deal. However, they're now prepared to pay the reported £9m to land Ulloa ahead of their rivals in an attempt to stave off relegation.

Michy Batshuayi to West Ham

Batshuayi was linked to West Ham in the summer before he joined Chelsea in a deal worth £33m. But the form of Diego Costa, combined with the new change in formation, has left Batshuayi out of the side and there is talk he may be on the move in January in an attempt to play first team football.

Conor Hourihane to Aston Villa

Barnsley captain Hourihane is a target for Aston Villa as new boss Steve Bruce looks to reshape his midfield. Villa failed to land the midfielder in the summer but now feel they're in a better position with Bruce, who managed Hourihane during his time as Sunderland boss, now in charge at Villa Park.
