TOP STORY: Manchester clubs to battle for Maguire
Manchester United and Manchester City are set to go head-to-head to land England and Leicester centre-back Harry Maguire, according to Sky Sports.
Sources have told ESPN that United are ready to renew their interest in Maguire, having failed to sign him last summer when Leicester put his price at £80m.
Sky claim that this time around the club won't even name a price for the 26-year-old because they don't want to sell -- though that £80m figure appears again in the story, which would be a world-record fee for a defender after the £75m Liverpool spent on Virgil van Dijk last year.
Maguire has evidently got no major desire to move on, and only signed a new five-year contract in September, though Leicester are lining up Burnley defender James Tarkowski as a replacement should it happen.

23.00 BST: Tottenham are set to return with a second bid for Real Betis' Giovani Lo Celso, according to reports.
The Mirror writes that Spurs will make an improved offer for the Argentine, after Betis rejected their initial bid of £53 million. The 23-year-old Lo Celso scored 16 goals and added 6 assists last season for the Verdiblancos, and the club are reportedly holding out for the full £88.9m release clause in his contract.
Lo Celso, who will be playing for Argentina this month at the Copa America, is viewed as a potential replacement for wantaway star Christian Eriksen.
22.35 BST: Could Lucas Torreira leave Arsenal after just one season?
A report in TuttomercatoWeb suggests that the former Sampdoria man could return to Italy and reunite with former manager Marco Giampaolo at AC Milan. Giampaolo, who coached Torreira between 2016-18 at Samp, is rumoured to be in line for the Milan job and could look to recruit his former charge.
Torreira played 34 times in the Premier League during his debut season with the Gunners and currently has a contract at the Emirates through 2023.
22.00 BST: An update on in-demand Sporting Lisbon ace Bruno Fernandes.
Portuguese outlet O Jogo claims that Tottenham have submitted a £62.3 million bid for the attacker, the price Lisbon have been asking for from potential suitors. The 24-year-old had a breakout season in Portugal with 32 goals and 18 assists and is also reportedly being tracked by Man United, Man City and recently Inter Milan.
Tottenham have not signed a player in over a year but are reportedly in on Fernandes and Real Betis' Giovani Lo Celso.
21.20 BST: West Brom to Barcelona?
That isn't the normal progression of a footballer's career but could be the route for teenage Baggies star Louie Barry. The 15-year-old, who has starred for England at various underage levels has, according to a report in Birmingham Live, caught the eye of the Catalan club. Barcelona are reportedly keen on brining the youngster to the famed La Masia academy but WBA remain hell-bent on keeping the player who turns 16 at the Hawthorns.
20.33 BST: Man United, Man City and Juventus are all swarming for Benfica phenom Joao Felix, but according to a Spanish outlet a surprise club could now be at the front of the queue.
AS suggests that Atletico Madrid are gaining serious traction with Felix and his people, and that the Portuguese attacker could decide to snub bigger clubs to be the focal point of the new Atletico Madrid project. With Diego Godin and Antoine Griezmann on the way out of the Wanda Metropolitano, Felix, who is valued at €120 million, could take over as the face of the club, a carrot the other three major clubs linked with him cannot offer.
The report goes on to say that Felix's agent, the influential Jorge Mendes, has been selling Atletico's recent success and coach Diego Simeone to the teenager.
20.01 BST: Chelsea have confirmed that one youngster, Ola Aina, will be leaving on a permanent basis this summer.
Torino have exercised their option to buy the wing-back on a permanent basis, after the Nigeria international played 30 games in Italy while on loan in 2018-19.

Torino reportedly have paid a fee in the neighborhood of £9 million for Aina. Now we wait and see which others from the "Chelsea Loan Army" will follow Aina out the exit the door this summer...
19.18 BST: Watford are confident of retaining Joao Pedro, after reports earlier this month hinted that Liverpool could swoop in for the young Brazilian.
The 17-year-old forward, who has a verbal agreement in place with Watford, has scored 9 goals in 14 games for Fluminense and has caught the eye of bigger English clubs. Since the youngster has not signed a professional contract -- as he is yet to turn 18 -- there were fears a bigger club could pip Watford at the final moment for his pro signature. Watford were handed a Pedro boost on Monday as Pedro's mother and father were in town to visit Vicarage Road.
Pedro will turn 18 in September and at present is scheduled to join the Hornets in January.
18.39 BST: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Man United have made no secret of their desire to bring Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Old Trafford. With Palace asking for £60 million for the youngster, though, Man United may elect to look elsewhere and Sky Sports News reports one target is Norwich's Max Aarons.
The 19-year-old was the EFL Young Player of the Season last season as Norwich earned promotion to the Premier League and is also reportedly drawing interest from Palace, as well as RB Leipzig.
17.58 BST: According to the Daily Mail, Celtic are leading the chase for Bolton youngster Luca Connell.
The 18-year-old, who made 12 first-team appearances last season for Wanderers, has yet to sign a professional contract and could elect to leave the club that is currently in administration.
A Republic of Ireland youth international, Connell can play in defence or as a defensive midfielder and could leave Bolton for as little as £250,000.
17.14 BST: Liverpool are reportedly closing in on a contract extension with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain that would keep the midfielder at Anfield through 2023.
The deal would add an additional 12 months to the Ox's current deal and result in a pay bump up to £120,000-a-week. The 25-year-old England international missed almost all of last season with a serious knee injury, only returning in late April to make two first-team appearances.
16.27 BST: Porto reportedly want Gianluigi Buffon to replace Iker Casillas in goal this season, according to Gazzetta.
Buffon, 41, has left PSG after 12 months in Ligue 1 but isn't quite ready to hang up his gloves yet and could be persuaded to move to Portugal to take over from Casillas, who sadly suffered a heart attack in May and is unlikely to return to action this coming campaign.
15.58 BST: Arsenal almost signed Yannick Carrasco on loan in January before the deal fell through, but if they are interested in revisiting that move then Chinese club Dalian Yifang are demanding they pay over £25m.
The 25-year-old Belgium winger is keen to move back to Europe after just over a year in China and Arsenal need pace down the flanks. The Evening Standard claim: "Talks are ongoing with Arsenal hopeful of making a breakthrough. Options being discussed include staggering payments over a longer period or building in various performance related add-ons in order to reach an agreement."
15.09 BST: Barcelona hope to bring in at least €60m in player sales before June 30 with the aim of balancing their accounts for the 2018-19 season, sources have told ESPN FC.
Ernesto Valverde would like to add three or four new players to his squad this summer but has been warned that the club's delicate financial situation dictates that players must be sold to allow others to join.
Andre Gomes could be the first to leave, while Barca are also seeking new homes for Denis Suarez, and Jasper Cillessen.
14.34 BST: Real Madrid and Juventus have stepped up their efforts to sign wantaway Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Marca report "Operation Pogba" is underway with manager Zinedine Zidane winning the internal battle over which midfielder should come in this summer. Zidane has made it clear he wants Pogba over both Tottenham's Christian Eriksen and Ajax's Donny van de Beek.
Meanwhile, a report in Tuttosport suggests, while United's official line is that Pogba is "not for sale," Juventus are confident they can re-sign their former midfielder with the right offer.
Their hopes of landing the World Cup winner have been helped as a new law change would mean he only has to pay 30 percent tax rather than 50 percent, which would lower the gross outgoings significantly.
14.08 BST: Manchester United are in talks to sell Matteo Darmian, sources have told ESPN FC.
Spanish side Valencia and two unnamed Italian clubs are leading the race to land the Italian defender, who has made it clear to United he wants to leave this summer.
Solskjaer already has right-backs Ashley Young and Diego Dalot in his squad and has also sanctioned a bid for Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The initial £35m offer for the 21-year-old was rejected but United are expected to return with a bid closer to Palace's £60m valuation (see below).
13.32 BST: There is "zero chance" of Real Madrid loaning out Vinicius Jr. for the 2019-20 campaign, and Spanish media reports of problems with manager Zinedine Zidane are untrue, a source close to the player has told ESPN FC.
13.17 BST: Manchester United will have to spend £60m in order to sign right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace after their opening bid was rejected, sources have told ESPN FC.

13.01 BST: Keylor Navas' future is up in the air at Real Madrid and could be on his way this summer. However, AS claim that the goalkeeper is pleading with Real to let him go for free and to buy out the remaining of his two-year contract but Los Blancos will demand around €20m for his services.
12.27 BST: Joao Felix has the pick of clubs around Europe. He could join anyone... as long as they stump up his €120m release clause.
But AS report that the Portugal teenager is tempted to make a move to Atletico Madrid so that he gets first-team football rather than sitting on the bench at Real Madrid, Man City or Barcelona.
11.46 BST: Marca reckon PSG could move for Manchester City's Nicolas Otamendi if they fail to land Matthijs de Ligt, while the Times say that €22m would be enough to secure the Argentina international's signature.
Meanwhile, Estadio Deportivo claim that PSG are serious about their interest in Sevilla's Pablo Sarabia and could activate his €18m release clause
11.02 BST: Atletico Madrid are having an interesting summer. First up, they'll do well to keep goalkeeper Jan Oblak -- who a source told ESPN is keen to move to Man United or PSG -- and they are set to lose Antoine Griezmann to an as-yet-unnamed club.
Diego Costa could also be on the way out, but Tiempo de Juego insist that PSG's Edinson Cavani is being lined up to replace him. Surely there will be some kind of swap deal instigated.
10.33 BST: West Ham are set to sign Pablo Fornals from Villarreal for €27m, according to Marca.
Villarreal managed to hang onto the Spain midfielder last season, amid interest from Arsenal and others, but after a poor campaign they have to sell and he is one of the first names on the chopping block.
10.09 BST: Former Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi is set to make a decision over a move to Boca Juniors in the coming days.
ESPN Argentina claims he could join Boca for six months to play in the Copa Libertadores before going to MLS.
Boca sporting director Nicolas Burdisso hasn't hidden his admiration for De Rossi and maintains that his signing would be the cherry on the cake for the club.
09.58 BST: Fulham flop Andre Schurrle has returned to Germany where he is preparing for the new season in Berlin. Technically still under contract at Borussia Dortmund, the 2014 World Cup winner is unlikely to wear the black and yellow jersey again and German tabloid Bild have linked him with a move to Lazio.
09.41 BST: Real Madrid left-back Marcelo has no intention of leaving and is focused on fighting for his place despite the pending arrival of France international Ferland Mendy, a source close to the player has told ESPN FC.
Marcelo has won 20 trophies including four Champions Leagues since joining the club in 2007, but the 31-year-old had a poor 2018-19 season during which he lost his place to youngster Sergio Reguilon.
Although Zinedine Zidane's return in March saw Marcelo return to the first team, the French coach has played a key role in the €55m deal to sign Lyon player Mendy which, sources have told ESPN FC, is due to be completed this week. However a source close to Marcelo said that Mendy's signing would not change anything for the Brazilian future.

09.14 BST: Speaking of Man City, the Premier League champions need a replacement for Vincent Kompany at some point and TalkSPORT claim they have found one.
Young Brazilian defender is a much cheaper option than Harry Maguire. The Cruzeiro centre-back, 22, is valued at around £15m and is also attracting attention from Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Monaco.
08.57 BST: West Ham are unlikely to make a move for Manchester City's Fabian Delph during the transfer window, sources have told ESPN FC.
The England international has been told that he can leave the Etihad Stadium this summer after falling down the pecking order in Pep Guardiola's first team squad.
City want around £15m for the 29-year-old, who is entering the final year of his contract, but the Hammers have been put off by the fee along with the wages that the former Aston Villa and Leeds midfielder would command.
08.37 BST: Superdeporte report that Valencia have contacted Barcelona with a view to acquiring Spanish midfielder Denis Suarez.
Tied to Barcelona until June 2021, the 25-year-old is looking to earn more playing time after a disappointing six-month loan spell at Arsenal where he made just four league appearances.
According to the Valencia-based publication, Barca's asking price of €20m is considered excessive and Valencia will only make a move for Suarez if the Spanish champions lower that figure.
08.05 BST: Joao Felix's future will be decided this week amid interest from Manchester City, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Juventus, according to Record.
The rising Benfica star is currently on holiday in Ibiza after winning the UEFA Nations League with Portugal on Sunday. According to Record, talks regarding the sale of Felix will resume today. The 19-year-old winger, reportedly has four offers, including two from clubs that are willing to pay his €120m release clause.
Record claims that Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira is resigned to losing Felix. However, Benfica are hoping to reach an agreement that would see Felix remain on a season-long loan at the Estadio da Luz. According to Record, Atletico are prepared to offer €60m plus another €20m in variables. They want to convince Felix by creating a project around him in the coming years.

Spurs may go in for Marseille's Sakai
Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing Marseille right-back Hiroki Sakai, according to Sky Sports, although the London side may have concerns about the Japanese star's age.
Sakai, 29, could be seen as a suitable replacement should they move on from Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier. Nonetheless, Mauricio Pochettino may prefer a younger reinforcement.
The former Hannover 96 man has been to two World Cups for Japan, and joined Marseille in 2016.
Everton hoping to secure Dakonam
Everton and Arsenal are both in the running for highly rated Getafe defender Djene Dakonam, but the Toffees look to have the edge when it comes to winning the player's signature, writes the Daily Mail.
Dakonam starred as Getafe finished fifth in La Liga, and Everton boss Marco Silva is looking to reinforce his defensive ranks, particularly as he faces the threat of losing loanee Kurt Zouma.
The 27-year-old is likely to cost the Merseysiders around £30m, a figure that could prove too much for Arsenal and their seemingly limited war chest. The Gunners look set to spend well under £100m this summer, and so they'll need to shop smart in an effort to improve their squad.
Silva, on the other hand, looks set to be well backed as the Blues hierarchy look to challenge for a European place.
Villa ready to splash cash for Butland
Newly promoted Aston Villa are prepared to spend up to £20 million to secure the services of Jack Butland, reports The Sun.
Villa join the race for the popular stopper, who has also been earning admiring glances from the likes of Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.
Stoke City value their man at nearer £25m, a figure that has put off some potential suitors, but Villa boss Dean Smith is keen to start the new season with a top-class keeper with Premier League experience.
Villa's owners have the spending power to afford Butland, while the keeper himself would be keen on a move in an effort to reignite his England career.

- Arsenal are still looking to replace Aaron Ramsey, and Unai Emery has decided that Fiorentina star Jordan Veretout could fit the bill. The 26-year-old is looking for a move this summer and though heavily linked with Napoli, his agent has admitted that his client is still considering options both in Italy and abroad.
- Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea exit could be confirmed this week, with one Chelsea shareholder saying farewell to the Italian boss via his Instagram account. Sarri has been linked with a move away from London form some time, and even Chelsea's Europa League win doesn't seem to have altered the club's plans. Hasan Nagoor's social media post is the latest hint that Sarri is set for a return to Italy.
