Liverpool's hopes of reaching the Champions League knockout rounds will go to the final round of group-stage matches after they were beaten 2-1 by Paris Saint-Germain. Juan Bernat and Neymar put the French champions two goals in front after 37 minutes before James Milner scored a penalty in first-half stoppage time to give Liverpool hope.
Positives
Last season's finalists can still get out Group C. It is a big ask, though, as they need to beat first-placed Napoli by two clear goals. Meanwhile, Alisson has not been tested much in his Liverpool career, but strengthened his reputation as an elite goalkeeper in Paris.
Negatives
This has been a nightmare European campaign on the road for Jurgen Klopp's side, who have put in barely recognisable performances and been deservedly beaten in all three of their away matches. Liverpool have been lauded for defensive solidity in the Premier League, conceding just five times overall, but in five European games, they have been breached seven times.

4 -- The sight of PSG continually running off Liverpool's three-man midfield suggested Klopp had got his set-up wrong. The centre of the pitch is Liverpool's most obvious issue at the moment and the manager has yet to find a solution.
Player ratings (1-10; 10 = best. Players introduced after 70 minutes get no rating)
GK Alisson, 8 -- Liverpool's best player on night, despite conceding twice. He pulled off a number of crucial interventions that kept to keep his side in conterntion.
DF Joe Gomez, 6 -- Fortunate to play the rest of the game after being on the receiving end of a reckless tackle from Marco Verratti. Gomez's long throw-ins were arguably Liverpool's biggest threat.
DF Dejan Lovren, 5 -- Far too static for the opening PSG goal and was teased and tormented throughout by the frontline of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani.
DF Virgil van Dijk, 5 -- The centre-half could have prevented Bernat's goal with a better initial clearance in the build-up. He did nothing wrong after that lapse, though.
DF Andrew Robertson, 6 -- Struggled in the first half along with Liverpool's other defenders, but grew into the game in the second and helped apply pressure on PSG's backline.
MF Georginio Wijnaldum, 4 -- Booked early as he struggled to withstand PSG's onslaught. The fact he was the first player in red to be substituted was not at all surprising.
MF Jordan Henderson, 4 -- The captain did not deliver the performance that was required, particularly after his sending off vs. Watford at the weekend.
MF James Milner, 5 -- A similar performance to his two midfield partners, though his coolness from the penalty spot gave Liverpool a lifeline, though. He has scored 14 out of 16 spot kicks for the club.
FW Mohamed Salah, 5 -- You cannot fault his effort, but the Egyptian forward was feeding off scraps in the final third.
FW Roberto Firmino, 4 -- A return to his preferred false nine role did not have the desired effect and the hero in September's meeting between these two sides was extremely quiet.
FW Sadio Mane, 6 -- His pace won the penalty that put Liverpool back in the game and, overall, he was Liverpool's most threatening attacker.
Substitutes
MF Naby Keita, 6 -- An encouraging cameo that made you wonder why he did not start or come on at half-time.
FW Daniel Sturridge, NR -- His only noticeable contribution was picking up a yellow card for trying to stop a PSG counter-attack.
FW Xherdan Shaqiri, NR -- He will question why he was dropped from the starting XI.
