Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme pulled off three stunning saves to ensure that they kept their unbeaten run intact in a 0-0 Sky Bet Championship draw against Blackburn at Molineux.
Ikeme twice denied Jordi Gomez and also frustrated Shane Duffy as Wolves made it six games without defeat.
But in that sequence, their last three home games have finished in goalless draws, something not seen here since 1899.
Blackburn had gone into the game after back-to-back defeats against Preston and Sheffield Wednesday.
But they were never seriously troubled by a lightweight Wolves attack who struggled to even get a shot on target.
They failed to do that until substitute Bjorn Sigurdarson's 76th minute effort from the edge of the area.
Blackburn suffered an early blow when they lost the services of striker Danny Graham after just 16 minutes.
The on-loan Sunderland marksman, who had a temporary spell at Wolves in 2014, limped off with what appeared to be a hamstring injury and was replaced by Chris Brown.
In a decidedly low-key opening spell, Wolves' winger James Henry carried the greatest threat but Blackburn's Grant Hanley and Shane Duffy proved to be an imposing presence at the centre of the Rovers' defence.
Blackburn struggled to carry a threat of their own and the closest they came to breaking the deadlock in the opening 25 minutes was when Wolves captain Danny Batth narrowly headed a corner from Elliott Bennett over his own bar.
Hanley then made his presence felt in the Wolves area when he nodded down a Bennett free-kick into the path of Duffy but the Irishman could not get a shot on target before the ball was hacked to safety.
Wolves striker Adam Le Fondre was equally frustrated in the 32nd minute when he surged towards goal only to blaze his shot off target from the angle of the penalty area when faced with just goalkeeper Jason Steele to beat.
Clear cut chances were few and far between but Gomez created something out of nothing on the stroke of half-time when Wolves had a major let off.
There appeared to be little danger when Gomez picked up the ball 25 yards from goal.
But the on-loan Sunderland midfielder let fly and Ikeme produced a spectacular save to push his drive on to the angle of the post and cross bar before the ball bounced to safety.
Wolves did carry more a threat in the second period - especially through winger James Henry.
His 79th minute cross looked set to pick out Sigurdarson at the far post but the Icelandic forward was just inches away from connecting with the ball.
Ikeme then frustrated Gomez again five minutes from time when he beat away a free-kick at his near post with Duffy and Simeon Jackson waiting to pounce.
But Ikeme reserved his best for the final minute - first pushing a close range header from Gomez over the bar. From Bennett's resulting corner, Duffy headed goalwards but Ikeme was again equal to the task.
